The joy of being graceful: I had an accident yesterday.
I was leaving the gym (ymca) and my ankle decided it didn’t want to work anymore!
I stepped of the curb and my ankle gave way. Thinking that I had just sprained it, I called Mike at work and he said the same thing it’s just a sprain. But Zach was very worried about me and keep telling Mike just to come get me. It was cute! Instead of Mike coming from Boise and getting me I decided that I could drive. It was fun trying to drive a stick shift. I strongly recommend that if it ever happens to you get someone to drive. Thinking the worst, I decided to not take that chance, so I went to the doctor. Good thing I did, because I was wrong! I actually have a small crack in my fibula and a very BAD sprain. So now I get to sport a lovely air cast/ boot “depending on my mood and how bad it hurts” for the next 4 to 6 weeks. O joy for me!!

OH NOOOO!
That's not fun at all! I am soooo sorry. I can't imagine how painful clutching was. Glad you got it checked out. So they can't do much for a cracked fibula?
I hope you heael quickly.
you probably know about this... for Britt's alternating extremely hot water and ice water really helped...also compression & elevation. Good luck!!!
